White Gourd (Laukhi) Soup
Ingredients
Bottle gourd (laukhi) – 200 gms
Onion (medium) – 1
Garlic flakes – 4
Water – ¾ glass
Oil – ½ tsp
Black salt – ¼ tsp
Black pepper powder – according to taste
Method
Chop the onions and garlic flakes
Sauté in oil to remove the raw taste
Wash and cut laukhi into pieces leaving the skin intact
Add to the pan
Add salt and mix everything well
Add water and pressure well till laukhi becomes very soft
Cool and blend in mixie
Add water to adjust the consistency
Sprinkle pepper powder on top
Serve hot
